This project included 56,000 square feet of new construction and 20,000 square feet of renovation work. The primary objective of this project was to provide a new surgery suite to meet the expanded demands of an increasing out-patient surgery load. There was also a new radiology suite with CT scan capabilities and an upgraded Nuclear Medicine area. The existing surgery suite was reworked for Nursing Services, while an existing patient wing was renovated for cardiopulmonary services. The existing laboratory was renovated and upgraded. The project included approximately 15,000 square feet of shell space that was later developed into a birthing center.
