Attendees Include: Mayor Indya Kincannon, City Council Members, Parks & Recreation Director Sheryl Ely, and several Community Advocates
Today’s dedication was not only for the complete renovation to the interior of the Cal Johnson Recreation Center, completed by Community Tectonics Architects, but also for the privately-funded mural at the outdoor basketball courts and the new outdoor fitness equipment installed at Danny Mayfield Park in Mechanicsville and at Paul Hogue Park in East Knoxville. More information regarding the ribbon cutting ceremony and these projects can be found on the City of Knoxville Parks and Recreation website.
